    Job Description


    SCOPE OF POSITION

    The Radiation Therapist provides radiation therapy to patients according to established practices and standards as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.

    Maintains accurate records, reports and files as required, reviews patient's chart, prescription, diagnosis and identification and prepares equipment to be used for patient's daily treatment.

    Follows principles of radiation protection for patient, self and visitors.

    REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
    See Table of Organization.

    EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
    Graduate from accredited Radiation Therapy program.
    Valid and active ARRT in Radiation Therapy or be registry eligible
    CPR required
