- Responsible for the bar setup. Maintains daily par levels for all beverages and service items
- Prepares garnishes for drinks and ensures their freshness
- Accurately accounts for all sales, discounts, and promotions in the POS system according to company cash handling procedures
- Responsible for cleanliness of the bar area and glassware
- Complies with state alcohol requirements for alcohol servers
- English fluency
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, managers and staff
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills to communicate positively
- Familiarity with Aloha POS
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- Advanced knowledge of beer styles and service
- Advanced knowledge of wine styles and service
- Advanced knowledge of distilled liquors
- Training in mixology and classic cocktail making
- Experience in high volume environments
- Required to stand for long periods of time
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to taste or smell.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- High school graduate or equivalent and at least 21 years of age
- Advanced knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
- Familiarity with standard drink recipes including specialty and classic cocktails
- At least two years in a high-volume, full-service bar
- Must possess required health and liquor service certifications per state law.
