- The Mechanical Superintendent's role is to supervise the field construction employees to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
- The Superintendent will work with the Project Manager to manage overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, purchase, receipt, use of tools, equipment/materials, and safety promotion and compliance.
- The Superintendent is particularly responsible for directing all mechanical field labor resources and subcontractors to ensure a quality, timely, and within-budget construction project while always keeping the employees safe.
- $34 to $40 Per Hour (Based on Experience)

- Be a working Superintendent while leading trade staff to complete jobsite related projects.
- Review and understand project documents; to include but not limited to blueprints, drawings, scope of work, etc.
- Actively mentors and trains employees in all construction related activities/issues.
- Manages and controls the workflow of employees and subcontractors to meet or exceed schedule and quality requirements and to satisfy all project commitments.
- Keeps Project Manager and company leadership informed with progress, issues, and changing conditions.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations. Including but not limited to wearing safety equipment such as safety glasses, face masks, gloves, work boots, harnesses and/or other required PPE relevant to job site.
- Perform, upload, and maintain all company documentation requirements including, but not limited to, daily job reports, daily manpower reports, JSA's, tool inventories, progress plans, timesheets, etc.
- Ability to pass drug screening and criminal background check.
- Valid driver license with a relatively clean driving record.
- Strong management, analytical, and people skills.
- Heavy background experience in Ironwork, Millwright/Mechanic, Rigging, Welding, and Pipping.
- Possess strong communication skills to communicate with customers, potential customers, management, and other employees.
- Minimum of 10 years of field experience in the industrial construction industry.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage and direct on-site project teams to successful completions, with 5 years required.
- OSHA 30 preferred.
- Willingness to travel in market area based on project location.
- Able to work in all elements of the outdoor environment which include the heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, etc.
- Able to access all areas of the jobsite including stairs, scaffolding, ladders, elevation changes, etc.
- Capable of working in physical positions that may include kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting, bending over, etc.
- Must be able to move, carry, or position items weighing up to 75 pounds.
