    Heavy Civil Project Manager


    Location:
    Atlanta, GA

    Salary:
    $100,000 - $150,000 + Bonus(s)

    Are you a dynamic and results-oriented leader with a passion for managing transformative heavy civil construction projects? This leading general contractor is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager to join their team in Atlanta, GA.

    As a key member of their organization, you'll oversee the successful execution of projects that shape the city's infrastructure landscape.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience
    Proven track record in managing heavy civil construction projects
    Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide project teams
    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    Proficiency in project management software and tools
    Thorough understanding of construction codes, regulations, and industry standards
    Ability to effectively manage project budgets, schedules, and resources

    Experience:
    3+ years of experience working on heavy civil construction projects
    Previous experience with GDOT or civil sitework projects in the Atlanta area is highly preferred
    Successful delivery of large-scale projects on time and within budget
    Experience with project planning, scheduling, and cost control
    Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex project challenges
    Familiarity with environmental compliance and safety protocols

    Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
    Lead project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and field staff, to ensure project objectives are met
    Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards and regulations
    Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations
    Identify and mitigate project risks and issues in a timely manner
    Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
    Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders
