GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This is a job training and employment support position. Clients will complete an intake

process where they will work with a Case Manager to enroll into Career Explorations.

Clients will then complete the Customer Service and Sales Certificate through the

National Retail Federation. Clients will then get a chance to job shadow (paid) for a day

(as available) and will work with the case manager to attain full-time employment in

customer facing roles


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Complete intake CASAS test
  • Complete Customer Service and Sales Certificate (Stipend)
  • One day paid Job Shadowing
  • Complete soft skills training: resume update, interview skills, leadership
development, and communication.

  • Access to $700 of support service money for various needs revolving around
attaining a job i.e. Driver's License costs, interview clothing, laptop etc.


JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of paperwork and meet deadlines.
  • Good mathematical, analytic, and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to deal sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse economic and
cultural backgrounds.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
No Experience needed. Applicants must be between the ages of 18-24 and live in the

Metro North Region of Boston. To be eligible you will need to bring, proof of residency,

Social Security Card, valid ID/Passport, and proof of income (as needed).
