THE POSITION:


DESCRIPTION OF WORK:


The responsibilities of this position include interpreting and implementing various labor agreements, participating in Labor Management meetings, and distributing meeting minutes.

Providing recommendations for dispute resolution, overseeing grievance procedures, and managing correspondence are also key duties.

Attending grievance meetings, Eastern Joint Area Committee sessions, and union arbitration hearings, as well as reviewing disciplinary matters, are part of the role.

Scheduling Pre-Disciplinary Conferences, drafting summaries, and enforcing appropriate penalties are additional tasks.

Handling situations involving drug tests or intoxication, completing necessary paperwork for testing, and managing local Unemployment Compensation (UC) coordination are also required.

Representing worksites at UC hearings, communicating with Corporate Cost Control's representative, and participating in UC hearings to support the representative with testimony, arguments, and witness preparation are essential responsibilities.

Staying informed about UC laws, policies, and procedures is crucial for this role.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:


  • Fulltime employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday
  • Friday, with 30minute lunch.

Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Chester.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:


QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:


  • One year as a Human Resource Analyst 2 in the area of the parenthetical

or:


  • One year as a Field Human Resource Officer 1, and one year of professional experience in the area of the parenthetical,

or:


  • Two years of experience in the performance of professional human resource work, including one year of professional experience in the area of the parenthetical; and a bachelor's degree;

or:


  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • You must pass a background investigation.
