Role Overview:


As an Accounting/Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our accounting department and office environment.

This position requires a blend of administrative and accounting expertise, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

You will be instrumental in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing comprehensive administrative support to promote efficient operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Accounting Assistant Duties:


  • Process AP payments and manage noncheck transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
  • Manage invoice payments, including checks and ACH transactions.
  • Oversee collections, including sending pastdue statements and liaising with clients.
  • Assist with AR invoicing, monthly billing, sales tax filing, and other financial projects.

Office Assistant Duties:


  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and manage food orders.
  • Ensure office and breakroom are presentable.
  • Support office improvement projects and holiday event planning.
  • Handle projects as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not mandatory.
  • At least 1 year of experience in general accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledgeable in accounting software and principles.
  • A positive, teamoriented, and hardworking mindset.
