Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance to individuals in need, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.
Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed.

Skills:

Experience in assisted living or patient care settings preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transportation assistance.
Knowledge of social work principles and practices.
Familiarity with dementia care techniques and behavior management strategies.
Ability to provide childcare if necessary.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
