Provides instruction and otherwise implements the Teen Outreach Program (TOP) curriculum and/or other teen pregnancy prevention programs as assigned.

The selected curriculum is designed to reach atrisk youth in a communitybased setting, utilizing a youthdriven model.
Coordinates and implements the community service component of program.
Coordinates and plans class activities and field trips with cofacilitator.
Ensures that all appropriate incentives and supplies for program implementation are ordered in a timely fashion and awarded in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with juvenile probation department, schools, youth service organizations, and other key partners.
Gathers data on youth for evaluative/administrative purposes and maintains documentation of program activities.
Assists with the development of a peer leadership program.
Attends community and staff meetings and represents the Health Dept. and the program with the public as appropriate.
Assists with training representatives from other social service/health care organizations in the TOP curriculum, as appropriate.
Must be able to establish a flex schedule to meet the needs of the program.
Normal work hours will be in the afternoon to early evening; however, some night and occasional weekend work may be required.
May be required to participate in emergency response training and to respond to incidents as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.
