    Description

    Role: Finance Director (Oregon division) – Production Homebuilding

    Package: $140,000 to $170,000 + Bonus annual bonus based on divisional and individual performance.

    Based: Portland, OR ideally or can be based Orange County, CA

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and review division financial projections and budgets
    • Collaborate with leaders to update project business plans
    • Summarize divisional financial performance for corporate executives
    • Provide analyses for effective decision-making and financial improvement
    • Assist in underwriting process, coordinate land acquisition projects, and monitor financing requirements
    • Ensure reliable operational performance and analyze revenues, costs, profits
    • Upon approval of projects, coordinate with Land Acquisition department and assume responsibility for project budgets and assumptions.
    • Monitor all new projects and anticipate pending financing requirements.
    • Track relevant land acquisition dates and assist in closing purchase transactions.

    Requirements:

    • Must have Homebuilding / residential real estate experience in accounting and/or financial analysis management
    • Must have bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred.
    • Public accounting experience a plus
    • Advanced Excel skills, financial modeling and complex formulas capabilities required.
    • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or other cloud-based financial planning software is a plus.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Good judgment in handling multiple priorities and open-ended tasks and keeping management apprised as to issues and status.
