The Wiegand-Glas Group is one of the top 3 container glass manufacturers in Germany and produces over eight million glass containers daily for the beverage and food industry in its four factories in Steinbach am Wald (Bavaria), Ernstthal, Großbreitenbach, and Schleusingen (Thuringia). In the fiscal year 2021/2022, the group generated a total turnover of around 616 million euros.

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for an Electrician (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities

  • Assembly, conversion, commissioning, and operation of testing machines, sorting and packaging systems
  • Maintenance and repair of mechatronic systems and equipment, tools, and operating resources
  • Review, optimization, and further development of technical processes
  • Identification and resolution of errors, malfunctions, and problems, as well as initiation of error analyses and corrective measures
  • Ensuring quality standards while adhering to prescribed testing methods and equipment

Your profile

  • Completed technical apprenticeship as an electrician or equivalent qualification acquired through several years of practical experience
  • Strong technical understanding and skills in the areas of electrical engineering, mechanics, and pneumatics
