The Organization:_

The Position_


This position within the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine will support and be accountable to the Director of Education for all education-related activities for both the ISMRM and ISMRT.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:_

Collecting and organizing materials relating to education, publications, and accreditation for annual meetings, workshops, and virtual seminars;

  • Communicating with faculty for annual meeting, workshops, and virtual seminars, including securing course material and ensuring speaker conformance with administrative requirements;
  • Coordinating and executing processes required for the development of curriculumbased course material, evaluation processes, as well as administrative requirements;
  • Assist Director of Education with maintenance of accreditation files for CME through Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), and American Board of Radiology Maintenance of Certification and CE through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT);
  • Preparation of relevant course materials for the website; working with the IT department for posting on website; verification of website posting for ISMRM and ISMRT;
  • Providing accurate, timely data entry, processing, reporting, and followup;
  • Travel to the annual meeting to provide onsite support;
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director of Education, Associate Executive Director, and Executive Director.

Required Qualifications:_

  • Twoyear college degree;
  • Two to five years administrative/office experience;
  • Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and some database management systems);
  • Excellent oral and written communication, spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills;
  • Excellent ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks at once;
  • Ability to adapt to annual changes in committee leadership management style, personalities, and be responsive to their goals and objectives;
  • Customer service oriented and strong interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in an international setting with people with limited English proficiency and different cultural orientations;
  • Ability to work and develop working relationships with members and coworkers; a proven team player;
  • Past experience with accreditation preferred; and
  • Must travel to annual meeting.

Compensation and benefits:_

Full-time permanent hourly position in the office. Hourly rate dependent upon experience. The Association offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 403(b) plan and employer paid health/dental insurance.
