    Description

    Job Summary: The Senior Network Administrator will ensure the compliance with IT standards, work closely with other IT groups and customers, analyze and assess the Department's network infrastructure, and recommend and implement operational policies and procedures. This role includes administration and management support of the network enterprise .

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Compliance and Coordination:
    • Follow Department IT processes.
    • Coordinate with IT staff to ensure compliance with standards.
    1. Customer Needs and Objectives:
    • Collaborate with IT groups and customers to define needs and objectives.
    1. Network Infrastructure Analysis:
    • Analyze and assess network infrastructure and operations.
    1. Policy Recommendation and Implementation:
    • Recommend and implement policies and procedures for daily operations.
    1. Network Enterprise Support:
    • Provide administration and management support of the network enterprise.
    1. Team Support:
    • Provide support to the network and infrastructure team as directed.
    1. No Travel Requirement:
    • This project does not require travel outside of Tallahassee, Florida.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience as a Network Administrator.
    • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Network Administrator.
    • Experience with at least one of the following: F5, Palo Alto, VMware, HyperV.
    • Goals-oriented proactive team player with multitasking and prioritization skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Critical thinker with problem-solving skills and the ability to make independent decisions.
