Director of Land Development
The Director of Land Development plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective execution of land development, encompassing construction scheduling, maintenance, warranty, and compliance with governmental standards.
This individual leads in the pre-development phases, focusing on design, approvals, estimating, and purchasing, while also managing the aesthetic aspects of site development, including homeowner association-related functions.
Central to their responsibilities is the coordination of land development construction, ensuring projects align with quality standards, budgetary constraints, and schedules, while fostering relationships with government regulators, utility engineers, and maintaining a focus on community standards and market performance.
Qualifications for the role include a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, over ten years in homebuilding or land development, and at least seven years in a supervisory capacity.
