Function:

The Social Enterprise Account Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering and managing relationships with partners for the Community Food Bank (CFB).

They will collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery, address partner challenges and identify opportunities for partner growth. This includes providing excellent service and support to ensure partner satisfaction that leads to long-lasting and trusted relationships.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with key decisionmaking partners, understanding their needs and goals within the social enterprise sector.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for partners and other internal departments, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Develops and implements strategic account plans to drive growth and retention, aligning with the mission and values of the social enterprise.
  • Collaborates crossfunctionally with internal teams by meeting regularly to discuss progress and ensure partner requests are fulfilled to their satisfaction.
  • Identifies opportunities for upselling or crossselling additional products or services to existing partners, maximizing revenue potential.
  • Monitors key performance metrics to track partner satisfaction, engagement levels, and overall account health.
  • Manages pricing by meal and contract type, ensuring updates to meal pricing annually.
  • Provides regular reporting and insights to partners, highlighting the impact and value generated through their partnership with the social enterprise.
  • Stays informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting social enterprises, and educate partners accordingly.
  • Leads strategic discussions and presentations with partners, showcasing the social impact and value proposition of the enterprise's products or services.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador for the social enterprise, attending conferences, events, and networking opportunities to expand partnership base and promote awareness of the organization's mission.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in learning internally and externally and incorporating new information into role.
  • Ability to work with people from diverse economic, social, and political backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Four (4) years of experience in business principles, marketing strategies, and customer relationship management.
  • Two (2) years of staff management and supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field or relevant experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
  • For company insurance purposes, at least 21 years of age; possess a current Arizona Driver's License with a safe driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working or volunteering at a nonprofit and/or food bank.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Physical Requirements:


  • Light Work ability to exert 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
