***MBB Radiology is looking for a teammate to be responsible for facilitating referrals and/or authorizations and scheduling for interventional outpatient procedures. In this role, the teammate will need to work efficiently and communicate with referring physicians, hospital personnel, and patients.


POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer MBB Interventional Radiology telephone line
  • Coordinate, schedule, and reschedule outpatient IR procedures in a prompt, pleasant, and helpful manner
  • Obtain appropriate preauthorizations for procedures from insurance companies when necessary
  • Organize virtual office meetings regarding followup procedures and imaging
  • Perform other office duties as assigned

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma highly preferred
  • Radiology and/or medical experience is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal/social skills
  • Ability to handle issues with utmost confidentiality/discretion
  • Strong verbal and written skills (diction and enunciation)
  • Experience working with various Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Good attendance/punctuality
  • A positive, cooperative attitude
  • Ability to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions
