Overview:
We are currently seeing a qualified
Payroll Analyst to join our HR team.

Under supervision of
the Payroll Manager the Payroll Analyst will handle all payroll activities and ensure the timely and accurate payment of employee wages.

This role is responsible for the collection of all necessary information and documents required to compute wages and will investigate and resolve any payroll issues or discrepancies.

Will also be responsible for reviewing and responding to employee questions and complex payroll-related issues


Proud Moments ABA is a behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21.

Our highly qualified BCBA/LBAs (Board Certified Behavior Analysts/ Licensed Behavior Analysts) possess years of experience and training and utilize their extensive skills to improve social, behavioral and adaptive skills with individually tailored programs.

Proud Moments ABA services the five boroughs of NYC, Long Island, New Jersey, Syracuse, NY, Rochester, NY, Nevada, Virginia and the DC/ Maryland area - and has recently expanded through partnerships to Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Mexico and North Carolina.

Responsibilities:


  • Process, analyze, and reconcile biweekly Corp payroll.
  • Manage payroll transactions, including but not limited to terminations, new hires, transfers, supplemental pay, and bonuses.
  • Process wage garnishments and deductions in accordance with appropriate laws and regulations.
  • Assist with payrollrelated audits, providing support and expertise as needed and providing insights on opportunities to improve payroll processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant industry regulations, tax, and deduction laws.
  • Prepare and maintain payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
  • Prepare offcycle payments via ACH as necessary.
  • Research and respond to routine inquiries regarding payroll calculations and deductions; investigate issues and make appropriate corrections in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 3 plus years' experience in payroll administration required.
  • Good working knowledge of payroll practices and laws (FLSA, overtime, state and local taxes, termination pay, etc.)
  • Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Experience in ADP Workforce Now and Central Reach a plus.

Salary Range:
$70K-$75K Annually
