    Job DescriptionA hospital located in Naperville, IL is currently seeking a qualified Monitor and Patient Care Technician to join their team full-timeCheck out the details below:

    Title: Monitor Technician and Patient Care Technician

    Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

    Setting: Telemetry

    Location: Naperville, IL

    Schedule: 24hrs per week, 6:30pm-7:00am, weekend rotation

    Pay: Pay based on experience, plus full benefits

    The Monitor Technician duties to include but not limited to:

    • Under general supervision monitors cardiac rhythms or patients in special care units via telemetry equipment
    • Perform related clerical duties such as answering routine questions, taking/relaying calls
    • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served
    • Act as a resource to nurses, physicians and other hospital personnel on identification of cardiac rhythms. This may involve formal and informal teaching
    • Must be willing to work as a Monitor Technician and Patient Care Technician
    REQUIREMENTS:

    • A High School Diploma or GED required
    • Three to six months of previous healthcare or monitor tech experience preferred
    • Previous experience or telemetry certification
    • CPR from AHA or Red Cross required
