Gaditek is seeking an Automation Expert in Dalton, MN to design, develop, and implement automation systems for various projects. This part-time contract position requires close collaboration with the marketing team to understand requirements and create effective automation solutions.


Once you are here, you will:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation systems for various projects.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand requirements and design appropriate automation solutions.
  • Provide technical support and expertise for automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems.
  • Stay updated on new automation technologies and incorporate them into existing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Integrate different APIs to automate web solutions.

Relevant Experience:


  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in automation and control systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, and Java.
  • Experience with industrial automation and control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of automation and control systems, including PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards.
  • Understanding of industrial protocols like Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Must be able to reliably commute to Dalton, MN or plan to relocate before starting work.
