The Director of Materials is responsible for providing Alcom's end-to-end materials supply chain and inventory management functions across all four manufacturing sites.Responsibilities
- MATERIALS PLANNING & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:Develop and oversee enterprise-wide materials planning processes (MRP reorder points safety stock lead-time settings).Ensure uninterrupted material flow to all production lines zero tolerance for assembly line shortages resulting in downtime.
- WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT:Direct warehouse and receiving operations for all locations including material staging and line-side delivery.Standardize best practices for layout Kanban min/max S5 forklift safety labeling MRP transaction accuracy.Ensure efficient inbound freight dock operations.
