Business Development Manager - Burbank, United States - West Coast Wound and Skin Care
Description
West Coast Wound and Skin Care, a national leader in mobile wound care, seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to head up our sales team. We want someone driven, hungry, and adaptable. Do you have two years of business development experience in the healthcare space? Have you managed sales teams with at least ten direct reports? Do you have a book of business to leverage? Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients through market research and analysis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry professionals
- Lead the sales team in generating new leads, closing deals, and achieving sales targets
- Develop incentive programs for the sales team
- Provide continuous coaching and development of the sales team through group training and oneonones
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop innovative solutions and drive business growth
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities and manage customer interactions
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Up to 50% travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Three years of outside BD experience in healthcare, preferably in home health, skilled nursing, assisted living, or hospice.
- Three years of experience managing a sales team of at least ten reps required.
- Strong knowledge of software products and services, preferably in the technology industry
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth
- Proficient in using CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer relationships
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and make datadriven decisions
- Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties or qualifications. The Director of Business Development may be required to perform additional tasks as needed.
Compensation:
Pay:
$80, $90,000.00 per year
