We are an established window manufacturing and installation company since 1988 looking for
Shipping Loaders (internally known as Shipping Associate) on our 1st Shift at our main facility in Laurel, MD.

The Shipping Loader is responsible for loading products onto trucks and staging products for installer pick up in an organized and efficient manner.

This role requires attention to detail and teamwork.

Shift Availability:

1st Shift:6am - 4:30pm (M-Thursday), per demand overtime (including Friday, Saturday overtime)

Starting Hourly Rate of $20.00

Main Responsibilities of a Shipping Loader:

Stage and load windows and doors into trucks for shipping
Follow Vytex's loading procedures for loading and unloading
Work with installation crews during pickup times
Use software to locate units for pick and delivery
Pull all stocked materials for each job to be picked up
Maintain a safe and respectful workplace environment
Adhere to all Vytex's policies and procedures
Be able to perform all jobs within the Shipping department
Keep lanes organized and put units away in proper locations
Make providing great customer service a priority
Certify or work toward being certified on Forklifts (Sit Down and Stand Up)
Communicate with Shipping and Manufacturing Personnel
Keep work areas clean and be a team player

Qualifications of the Shipping Loader:

Can multitask while communicating effectively
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Must be able to constantly bend, reach, climb, squat, and stand throughout shift
Shipping & Receiving experience is a plus
Forklift certification is a plus
Ability to work well with others on a team
High School Diploma/GED
