What You'll Do:


As a Regional Director of Operations, you will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and guidance to facility administrators and department heads to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, compliance with regulatory standards, and achievement of organizational goals.

Your work will play a critical role in driving the success and sustainability of our long-term care facilities within your assigned region.


Key Responsibilities of a Regional Director of Operations:


  • Develop and execute strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the region in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values, driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence
  • Provide direction and support to facility administrators and department heads in all aspects of operations, including clinical care, resident services, finance, human resources, and quality assurance
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and quality outcomes across facilities, analyzing trends, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing action plans to optimize performance and outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices, maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and risk management within the region
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top talent within the region, providing leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to facility leaders and staff members to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation within the region, monitoring revenue, expenses, and profitability to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability

What You'll Bring:


Qualifications of a Regional Director of Operations:


  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 710 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably in the longterm care or senior living industry
  • Strong knowledge of longterm care regulations, reimbursement systems, and healthcare quality improvement initiatives
  • Proven track record of strategic planning, financial management, and operational excellence in a multifacility environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve performance and outcomes
  • Flexibility to travel within the region as needed and work occasional evenings and weekends to support facility operations and initiatives
