We are a private practice Oral Surgery Center, Prousi Oral & Facial Surgery and we perform oral surgical procedures which include wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, reconstruction, pathology, dental implants and trauma.

We offer IV sedation for our patients and require an RN from 8am -1pm between 3-5 days per week.

We would occasionally ask that you are able to perform surgical duties in an outpatient OR setting, in our center, if we are short-staffed.

Duties:

• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition postsurgery
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist with patient discharge planning
• Perform IV insertions and infusions
• Utilize knowledge of physiology to assess patient recovery progress
• Step into an outpatient OR setting to suction and help pass instruments when we may have surgical staff assistants on vacation or out of the office
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license
• Experience in recovery or a related medical setting
• ACLS/BLS certification (if lapsed we will provider registration and renewal)
• Ability to administer injections and IVs
• Knowledge of sonography for postoperative assessments
• Ability to learn new EMR systemWINoms
