Junior Database Analyst

Full Time | Mon-Fri

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong proficiency with SQL and its variations amongst popular databases
Ability to debug and optimize large complicated SQL statements
Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, ADF, etc.)
Experience with different versions of MS SQL Server (SQL server 2016,2017,2019 and 2022)
Knowledge of best practices for creating reports/dashboards
Has worked in a teamoriented enterprise environment
Can multitask and prioritize requests
Must be detailoriented and logical
Excellent problemsolving skills
Passion to succeed and continually improve skills and exceed customer expectations

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collect and maintain business reporting requirements.
Implement BI reports (SSRS) based on requirements.
Analyze existing reports and optimize them for standardization across the company.
Set up and maintain BI tools, infrastructure, and integration with company data sources.
Work with DBA, developers, and clients. Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement as needed.
Design, build and deploy Data Warehouses and Cubes, reports, dashboards, queries, and data visualizations
Develop and update technical documentation

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Experience coding SQL Server
Proven experience as an ETL developer with strong data architecture (SSIS, ADF or other thirdparty integration tools)
Understanding of Database design and implementation
Ability to credit/edit/debug stored procedures and complex queries
Ability to understand the business process and create process flow diagrams
Experience in creating and managing technical documents
Positive customerservice mindset
Knowledge of data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining
Indepth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. PowerBI, SSRS, Tableau)
