We are currently seeking a career changer to join our team as an Oberbauschweißer (w/m/d) for DB Netz AG at our location in Nuremberg.


What to expect during the training:

  • We will train you to become a certified Oberbauschweißer (w/m/d). Previous welding experience is not mandatory, as you will learn this through our courses and training programs.
  • After completing the training, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Repairing damages on rails and switches, including straightening heart pieces, wheel guides, tongues, and rail plates.
  • Independently performing arc welding, thermite welding, and flame cutting after completing the training courses.
  • Your work will start and end at your central base, where you will be provided with all necessary materials, modern equipment and measuring instruments, as well as vehicles.
  • You will primarily work outdoors.
  • Your highquality work attire will be provided and cleaned for you.
  • You will go through our internal qualification program, attend regular training sessions, and continuously learn and improve.
