Desert Cleaning is a locally owned and established commercial janitorial company specializing in office cleaning since 1980.

Desert Cleaning specializes in commercial office cleaning, serving a large, well-diversified variety of commercial buildings across Tucson and surrounding areas.

Desert Cleaning is known for its solid reputation, high level of service and commitment to the Tucson community.


JOB SUMMARY:

This position requires you to clean at an office building in the Grant & Wilmot area. The building is serviced 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

- $15.00 per hour.

  • 7.5 hours total per week
    (additional hours are possible for other buildings)

  • Able to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights starting at 5:00 pm and must be done by 10:00 pm.
  • This is a great starting point in our company.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:


  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
  • Service, clean and supply kitchens.
  • Gather and empty trash, replacing liner if needed.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Mix water and detergents or in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
  • Notify supervisors or managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
  • Clean and polish fixtures.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours or checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.

TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU MUST:


  • Pass a background check

  • Must have a full time job or other income
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Own a working vehicle
