Duties:


  • Formulate, justify, and execute multipleyear intelligence budget for the organization.
  • Serve on Program Budget Advisory Committee (PBAC); assist in the development of the organization's intelligence submission to the Command's Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
  • Direct, plan, coordinate, monitor, interpret and evaluate intelligence activities to assure compliance.
  • Coordinate intelligence program objectives with appropriate counterparts in other agencies to minimize duplication and enhance interoperability of procurement programs including advanced and emerging technologies.
  • Write and/or edit narrative statements of work for procurement and acquisition programs to meet intelligence and security program requirements. Ensure that contractor performance is in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure correctness, equitable distribution and timely, proper utilization of the annual budget for assigned programs.
  • Serve as the Intel Support Division Systems Integration Management Officer for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) Systems.
  • Lead for all aspects of planning, coordinating and implementing new joint and combined C4I initiatives.
  • Maintain the Intelligence Systems portion of the C4I Architectures (Operational, Systems, and Technical) and assisting in integrating that input into the Army Service Component Command's (ASCCs') Theater Intelligence Enterprise Architecture.
  • Subject matter expert for the acquisition, fielding, and integration of new C4I capabilities and systems. Coordinate issues related to the modernization, upgrade, and lifecycle replacement of existing C4I capabilities and systems.
  • Serve as the organization's Systems Integration Management lead for all issues related to the certification, testing, and security accreditation of new Intelligence and Communications systems.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This position is designated as IAT II for IA/cybersecurity certification. Employee must obtain and maintain appropriate certification compliance IAW DoD or other applicable requirement as directed within six months of hire.
  • Will be expected to function in adverse climatic conditions and under intense physical and mental stress.
  • Must be able to wear other personal protective equipment (PPE) or clothing such as boots, goggles, gloves, chemical mask and other safety equipment as required.
  • Preemployment physical required.
  • Participation in the DOD/DA Immunization program to include live vaccinations as required by DOD/DA policy.
  • May be required to wear an electronic pager and maintain a working telephone at all times.
  • Deploys and serves as Team Chief for the MCP/OCP of JTF and JFLCC in support of Consequence Management missions. May also be deployed to support Defense Coordinating Element (DCE) when necessary to support FEMA operations
