    Clark-Wilkins Elementary School has an opening for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a cutting edge special education program with students in Preschool - Grade 4 identified with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorders. The BCBA will be responsible for ensuring implementation of ABA educational services in accordance with evidence-based practices in the school setting. The program currently uses Electronic Data Collection via Catalyst Datafinch for each student via iPads and access to SKILLS assessment and comprehensive curriculum for each student.

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
    Responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive behavioral assessments and behavioral treatment programs for Elementary School aged students.
    • Consult with staff members regarding behavior plans, curriculum modifications, accommodations and social skills and provide staff with resources, tools, and in-class modeling of techniques.
    • Oversight of and consultation to school staff regarding programming and IEP implementation
    • Conduct functional behavior assessments
    • Positive Behavior Support Plan development and oversight
    • Provide training to parents and caregivers to implement educational treatment programs
    • Responsible for providing educationally appropriate supervision and training of 1:1 school staff
    • Provide consultative services to parents, teachers, and other educational personnel
    • Provide staff training as needed including formal didactic and in the moment staff trainings on general proactive and reactive strategies for all students Responsible for coordination of home and school communication regarding educational treatment program when appropriate
    • Ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
    • Ensure high-quality ongoing behavior analytic services. This includes taking procedural integrity measures to ensure procedures are being run correctly and effectively; overseeing progression through the written teaching program; overseeing consistent implementation of behavior plans.
    • Collaborate and communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary team in development of student programming
    Qualifications & Skills:
    Required
    • Board Certified Behavior Analyst credential
    • Three or more years of experience working with schools, in school settings or with school age students
    Preferred
    • Experience working within school settings
    • Experience with Elementary School Students
    Special Position Requirements:
    The successful candidate will be able to work during the summer in an extended school year program to provide continuity for the identified student population.
