    Job Description

    We are currently seeking two Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to lead our ABA teams at our unique center in Lenexa, KS. BCBAs will oversee programs for 5 - 6 children and their teams of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Successful candidates will provide ABA intervention to children up to kindergarten age. This full-time position offers excellent weekday working hours. Key attributes include leadership, professionalism, playfulness, a genuine connection with children, experience with toddlers & preschoolers, and a passion for autism and young children.

    As a BCBA at Autism From The Start, you will:

    • Utilize assessments like VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS-R, ESDM Curriculum Checklist, and other relevant tools.
    • Maintain an ethical client caseload based on RBT staff service hours.
    • Create comprehensive individual behavior treatment plans.
    • Adjust and monitor treatment plans as needed.
    • Provide parent training using evidence-based approaches.
    • Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians and Interns.
    • Engage in team and leadership meetings.
    • Collaborate with external providers such as therapists and educators.
    • Report to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO).
    • Maintain necessary certification and licensure.
    • Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.

    Qualifications

    • Prior experience with autistic children as young as 2 years old is essential.
    • Ability to lift and carry children, run, and navigate stairs multiple times daily is required.
    • Must be a licensed Behavior Analyst in Kansas and Missouri or eligible for obtaining the license within one month of hire.
    • Commencement is subject to credentialing status with third-party payors.
