Volunteer Service Workers (m/f/d) - Federal Voluntary Service (BFD) and Voluntary Social Year (FSJ):

We are a facility for people with disabilities with a family-like atmosphere.

Currently, 230 people with disabilities have diverse job opportunities in our workshop area, daily activities in the support center, and educational and training programs in the vocational training area.

Around 80 employees from various professional fields support them. We are looking for volunteer service workers (m/f/d) - BFD and FSJ to join our team.


Your tasks:


  • BFD/FSJ workers* work together with professionals in various groups: assembly groups, housekeeping, metalworking, gardening, art studio, and support center. There, they support people with disabilities in their daily work (e.g. through additional tasks such as quality control, personal and nursing assistance such as putting on jackets or cutting food, through conversations and other support activities such as walks).
  • According to your own interests and preferences, you can design accompanying activities and offer them weekly as a course (e.g. basketball training, painting or creative course, but also a computer training).
  • In the support center, you bring ideas for activities and implement them with individual clients, such as reading aloud, playing games, singing, movement exercises, tablet games, and cooking together.
  • Together with other support and professional staff, you prepare for events and celebrations, such as carnival or Christmas parties.
