Description

• Research cost effective acquisition of materials and services to meet Company needs.
• Update material and hardware pricing.
• Identify and negotiate with suppliers and compare prices, specifications, terms, and delivery dates to determine optimum solutions.
• Develop and maintain longterm relationships with critical suppliers and manufacturing representatives.

• Order and update appropriately, oversee material transfers, procure and track specialty materials
• Maintain material lists and control material costs for every project
• Create and maintain purchase orders
• Respond to internal and supplier inquires
• Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• 3+ Purchasing experience, ideally in a custom manufacturing environment
• Strong computer and data management skills
