- Establish, plan, and direct manufacturing engineering activities and priorities for products focusing on effective operations and cost factors;
- Utilize proven lean manufacturing abilities to identify opportunities for cost reduction, enhanced quality, work flow enhancements, estimation, project analysis, technology advancement, and core manufacturing proficiency;
- Provide guidance to and mentor senior-junior engineers, technicians, and support staff; Support 8D, FMEA, and DFM analysis and implementation of Kaizen activities;
- Collaborate with Design Engineers to modify and maintain HVAC product designs, utilizing knowledge of mechanical engineering principles; offer manufacturing technical support to Design Project teams;
- Develop and oversee project schedules related to current product launches or design alterations; Take part in Cost analyses, drawings interpretation/approvals, and engineering change requests;
- Help in revamping internal components to enhance long-term system quality, efficiency, and cost reduction;
- Formulate engineering solutions to product-related issues through problem-solving and root cause analysis methods; Engage in cross-functional teams to introduce product modifications, address concerns, and bolster product enhancements;
- Coordinate project tasks internally within the department and externally with other departments to ensure timely project completion within budget;
- Develop suppliers for manufacturing equipment, cultivate key suppliers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in equipment UPTIME, EFFICIENCY & QUALITY; Engage in additional projects to cater to ongoing business requirements.
