    Position: HR Generalist-Recruiting Salary: DOE (depending on experience)

    DUTIES:

    Assist with recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels. Meets with managers to develop specific recruiting plans. Develops and coordinates short- and long-term recruitment and staffing goals; aggressively target unrepresented areas.

    Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing

    and recruitment.

    Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university, and community

    college placement office as a source to generate qualified applicants. Maintains contact with

    state, local, federal, military, and private employment and training organizations, advertising

    media, and other applicant sources.

    Process and review employment applications. Answer questions regarding salaries, benefits,

    and other pertinent information. Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.

    Perform other related duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

    Minimum:

    1.High school diploma or GED.

    2. One (1) year work experience performing HR functions.

    3. Excellent communication skills (oral and written) evidenced by

    1) conducting training or making presentations on HR related topics; and

    2) having written HR policy documents, or free form correspondence to personnel on

    HR related matters.

    4. Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

    5. Experience in Microsoft Office with basic Excel experience.

    6. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20lbs may be required.

    Preferred (in addition to the minimum):

    1. Two (2) years' experience working in Human Resources.

    OTHER ESSENTIAL INFORMATION:

    Selectee will be required to participate in Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer as the Standard method of payment for payroll and travel purposes.
