    *ECHO TECH / CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER NEEDED FOR 13 WEEK CONTRACT IN TAMPA, FL
    • Local / Travel Contract _We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer to join our healthcare team. As an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality diagnostic images and patient care._$2, $2,338.00 per Week
    • Days 5x8 Hr. Shifts (40 Hrs.

    per Week)*Responsibilities:

    • Perform echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound procedures according to established protocols and standards.
    • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have.
    • Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal images and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
    • Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently to obtain high-quality images of the heart and related structures.
    • Analyze images to ensure diagnostic quality and accuracy, identifying any abnormalities or areas of concern.
    • Assist physicians in interpreting images and providing preliminary findings as needed.
    • Maintain accurate patient records, including images, procedure details, and patient information.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to minimize risks to patients and staff.
    • Stay updated on advancements in cardiac imaging technology and techniques through continuing education and professional development. Qualifications:
    • Must do Echo, RDCS - position is for echo-vascular technician (certified vascular ultrasounds and ability to perform echo's) – will conduct ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, echocardiogram in ambulatory office.
    • ARDMS, BLS, CCI, RDCS, RVS/RVT certifications required.
    • Philips Epiq 7C, ABI equipment experience required.
    • 2+ yrs. of experience required, but first time travelers are encouraged to apply
    • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
    • Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and image analysis software.
    • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
