Position Overview

  • As a customer service representative on our team, you'll be responsible for processing customer orders, promoting additional products, and managing inventory using ERP software. You'll address delivery issues, handle resale certificate requests, and field customer inquiries to ensure exceptional service. Your attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction will contribute to our success in delivering outstanding service to our valued customers._

Responsibilities Include
- _Process customer orders using ERP system._
- _ Promote additional items from the internal order pad to enhance sales opportunities._
- _ Evaluate inventory levels to ensure product availability meets customer demand_
- _ Resolve delivery issues by verifying and updating customer information, including address, phone numbers, and correcting any missing details on paperwork._
- _ Handle requests for resale certificates by tracking and scanning documentation into the ERP system._
- _ Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, providing timely assistance._
- _ Collaborate with team members to conduct cross-reviews of orders, ensuring accuracy and consistency._
- _ Communicate potential delays in order deliveries to customers and the sales team_
- _ Facilitate on-site sales transactions, delivering exceptional service to customers. _
- _Manage truck manifesting processes and update lot information to facilitate smooth deliveries._
- _ Address and resolve all customer inquiries up to invoices ensuring customer satisfaction._
- _ Prepare accurate price quotes for customers for both existing and new products_
- _ Facilitate credit card transactions _
- _Ensure accuracy of data entry, including item codes, quantities, prices, and delivery schedules, to meet customer expectations_
- _College Degree Preferred _
- _Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service environment preferred. _
- _Ability to communicate effectively with sales professionals, customers, team members and management required. _
- _Must be detailed oriented and well organized_
- _ Microsoft Excel Skills Preferred_
- _ Effective problem-solving skills and adaptability_
