Forklift/Receiving Operator, W&D (1st shift, 7am-3:30pm)

    Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.
  • The Forklift Operator/ Receiving Clerk will perform a variety of tasks including unloading, and receiving of all incoming materials, preparing items for movement/storage and operating electric powered industrial truck equipment to move products or materials
  • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate industrial equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) to handle materials, including lifting up to 40 feet.
  • Record warehouse transactions in inventory tracking software and complete necessary documentation.
  • Follow safety procedures and standard guidelines for assigned tasks.
  • Check incoming shipments against documentation, counts items, and reports damaged items.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), conducts MHE inspections for food safety, and participate in daily shift meetings to address goals and resolve issues. Additional duties as assigned.
  • REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be certified to operate lift equipment. Certification will be met through completion of internal training
  • Regularly lifting 040 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 70 pounds with assistance.
  • Regularly stand, pull, squat, walk, kneel, reach, climb and/or balance for 8 to 10 hours daily.
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, talk and effectively hear and listen while being exposed to various levels of traffic from material handling equipment.
  • SKILLS:
  • Preferred experience in forklift operation and powered industrial equipment in manufacturing or warehousing.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, manuals, and basic correspondence.

  • Ability to collaborate in teams and adapt effectively to changes in work tasks, processes, or environments.
  • The approximate hourly pay for this position is $18.27$22.61. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
