Job Description:

Affinius Capital is seeking an Analyst to join its Credit team.

The Credit team oversees originations and asset management across Affinius Capital's investment vehicles targeting debt and preferred equity originations, which are secured by acquisitions and refinancings of development, transitional, and stabilized properties.

Analysts are an integral part of deal teams, involved in all aspects of the underwriting, diligence, and closing of new investments as well as asset management.

Essential Duties:
_**- Evaluating prospective investment opportunities

  • Generating financial analysis and modeling of debt and preferred equity investments
  • Author investment committee memoranda detailing investment rationale, execution risks, and prospective returns
  • Actively execute (bidding, due diligence, and closing) new investments in Affinius Capital's credit vehicles
  • Performing acquisition due diligence, interacting with thirdparty service providers, and completing market analysis
  • Implementation of business plans, including financings, dispositions, and ongoing portfolio surveillance
  • Additional duties, as assigned

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree from a top undergraduate institution
  • 12 years of experience in investment banking, advisory, real estate private equity, or real estate finance. Internship experience with a private equity firm, investment bank or bank preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for real estate
  • Outstanding quantitative and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent time management and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Argus is preferred but not required
  • Possesses intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously expand knowledge base
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and within teams
  • Must be willing to work onsite
  • Qualifications may warrant placement in different job title.
