Overview:
Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of the Johns Hopkins locations.

Facilitating and coordinating care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System.
Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.
Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.
Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.
Qualifications:
Must have current Cardiac Open-Heart prep & recovery experience
Required:
RN license, BLS,
_current experience with recovery of post-op cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting_
Preferred:
ACLS, Critical Care Certification, trauma course, EPIC
Experience:
Recovery of post-operative cardiac surgery patients (open heart surgery), two years of experience post orientation, _prefer at least (1) travel assignment_ or extensive experience if never traveled, we may still consider.
Required Experience:
vent, CRRT, Swan, epicardial wires/pacemakers, vasoactive gtts titration, level 1 IABP
Contract rate $80/hr
