About our facility

The Caritas St. Joseph Nursing Home in Rathmannsdorf is a non-profit, legally recognized institution. Caritas is the welfare association of the Catholic Church.

Our facility has been in existence since 1947 and was previously located in Maxen. In December 2003, we moved to a newly built replacement building in Rathmannsdorf near Bad Schandau. We offer 60 fully-staffed places for seniors with care needs in our newly built house.
