    Role:

    Heavy Civil Senior EstimatorSalary: $150-165k basic + Excellent BenefitsLocation: Hamilton Mayer has exclusively partnered with a $4bn revenue general contractor who is a leading provider of heavy civil construction services.

    About the
    Role:
    Lead the development of accurate, competitive cost estimates for complex projects exceeding $100 million.
    Analyze plans, specifications, and drawings to identify material, labor, and equipment costs.
    Conduct market research and negotiate with subcontractors for best pricing.
    Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure project profitability.
    Prepare and present well-documented estimates to internal stakeholders and clients.
    Conduct market research and negotiations to obtain competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
    Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to control costs and ensure project profitability.
    Prepare and present clear, concise, and well-documented estimates to internal stakeholders and potential clients.
    Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates are aligned with project scope, schedule, and design.


    Qualifications:
    10+ years of heavy civil construction estimating experience, preferably in highways, bridges, transit and rail.
    Proven track record of successfully estimating and bidding $100 million+ projects with past successes.
    Strong understanding of cost estimating principles, methodologies, and software.
    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not essential.
