- Manages site productivity and expenses and makes necessary changes to achieve budgeted goals.
- Identifies opportunities to generate revenue to meet or exceed the budget.
- Generates all activity reports as requested.
- Acts as a resource for ancillary reimbursement information to the facility.
- Treats patients and maintains a caseload that assists the rehab department in meeting budget and productivity goals. Approximately 65-75% of the day.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of the benefits and scopes of practice of PT, OT, and SLP
- Assesses patient needs and develops clinical programs appropriate for the facility census.
- Directs and trains others in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
- Communicates critical information to facility departments for integrated patient management.
- Coordinates the rehab department with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming.
- Oversees Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure service delivery at the appropriate standard of practice.
- Participates in clinical outcomes reporting and shares with the customer.
- Makes operational decisions in accordance with Legacy policies and procedures.
- Oversees internal marketing efforts to assist with relationship building and growing therapy caseload.
- Manages staffing patterns to meet caseload requirements and creates the staff schedule with guidance and input from the Area Director as needed.
- Oversees patient admission process.
- Understands Medicare Part B billing.
- Ensures timely completion and uploading of all documents in coordination with the billing support department and completes end-of-the-month billing tasks.
- Completes supply purchasing and inventory tasks.
- Ensures state Practice Act requirements and being followed in the assigned community.

- Creates and maintains team relationships and open communication with and between rehab staff, facility staff, and LHS corporate personnel.
- Assists the Area Rehab Director with Interviews and hiring for the site following LHS guidelines and staffing model.
- Assists the Area Rehab Director with annual employee performance reviews.
- Ensures all direct reports comply with regulatory initiatives.
- Accountable for and provides orientation/training for staff
- Counsels employees with assistance from the Area Rehab Director
- Demonstrates professional conduct and ethics in accordance with Legacy policies and procedures.
