Our core business is advising and supporting medium-sized entrepreneurs on succession and company sales. In 2021, Benchmark International successfully completed approximately 200 company transactions.

As part of our expansion in Germany, we are looking for a Research Specialist (m/f/d) to support our deal teams at our location in Düsseldorf.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Analyzing and identifying potential buyers and investors for our client companies
  • Creating "long lists" using databases and own research
  • Monitoring M&A deal activity in the mediumsized sector with a focus on the DACH region
  • Researching various markets and industries
  • Structuring and preparing information for our deal teams
  • Updating our own databases with relevant information

Qualifications:


  • Successfully completed studies with a background in economics, natural sciences, technology, or a comparable education
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Knowledge in the field of corporate strategy and a good understanding of markets, business models, and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Professional knowledge of MS Office with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Affinity for digital processes and project management
  • Strong team spirit and service orientation
  • Fluent in German and English
