- Participate in the development of an internship plan that meets the learning needs of the intern and satisfies the requirements of ISBE and the intern's university program.
- Participate on building Problem-Solving Teams to provide consultation for educationally at-risk students, assist with the problem-solving process, and support data-based decision-making regarding interventions and monitoring of student progress in response to interventions.
- Complete observations and/or screenings as appropriate to support development of interventions.
- Plan and/or implement interventions for educationally at-risk students that may include class-wide, small-group, or individual supports to address academic skills, executive functioning skills, metacognitive skills, social/emotional skills, etc.
- Provide consultation and support to member district personnel regarding systems-level academic and social-emotional benchmarking/screening and progress monitoring practices to support efficient and effective delivery of supports to educationally at-risk students.
- Assist with the review of existing data, development of assessment questions, and assessment plan for students who have or are suspected of having a disability.
- Complete psychoeducational assessments for children who have or are suspected of having a disability to assist in determining educational needs and eligibility for special education services.
- Complete appropriately thorough and timely professional records and reports to document evaluation results and recommendations.
- Participate in Eligibility and Individual Education Planning meetings to interpret assessment results and progress monitoring data to assist in determining appropriate interventions/supports and/or eligibility.
- Conduct or assist with in-service training opportunities, as requested/appropriate.
- Attend in-service training to increase knowledge of current methodologies and issues in the field.
- Perform/Assume other duties as may be assigned or approved by the Intern Supervisor.
- Follow the policies and procedures of the BMP Staff Handbook.

BMP (Bureau Marshall Putnam) Special Education Cooperative is seeking a full-time school psychologist. We serve fourteen districts in north-central Illinois.
Our office is in Tiskilwa, just south of Princeton, conveniently located on I-80, fifty minutes from Peoria, one hour from the Quad Cities, one & one-quarter hours from Bloomington-Normal, and one & one-half hours from Rockford and the western suburbs.
School assignments consider home location to minimize travel.
We employ several school psychologists, each of whom serves an average total student population of 872 and fewer than 4 buildings.
The psychologist is an integral part of their building teams, along with a school social worker and special education coordinator.
Our philosophy is proactive and supportive in the area of RtI/MTSS, with data-based decision-making and quality intervention at all tiers being top priorities.
The school psychologist supervisor is committed to expanding the role of our school psychologists over time to better serve our students and staff.
