The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Measure, monitor and manage daily Liquidity, Market, Credit, Operational and Regulatory risks for Corporate Bond, Municipal Bond, Loan, Foreign Exchange, Asset Back, Commodity and Interest Rate Derivative trading desks.
  • Assist Sr Traders in executing the funding of the broker dealer through Repo and Securities Lending trading.
  • Use VBA, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and other tools to utilize data tools to enhance analysis and reporting capabilities. Partner with technology and finance groups to increase automation, productivity, and control, reduce operational risk and cos
  • Collaborating with the Corporate bond trading desk to provide intraday and EOD risk and funding levels
  • Build and maintain analytical tools for cashflows needs and P/L
  • Calculate, monitor, and publish daily summary of risk data of combined balance sheet to Senior Management, including position, VaR, CR01, DV01, stress scenarios and credit metrics as per the OCC Market Risk Rule
  • Analyze position price verification with third party data provider and inventory aging for possible liquidity impairment
  • Manage margin calls, repricing of securities, trade fails, and management of collateral.


The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Hours 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 year or less of relevant experience

  • Risk Management experience
  • Fixed Income experience
  • Bloomberg experience
  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Data Analytics experience
  • Willing to obtain FINRA Series 7 & 63
