Tasks:


As a member of the Editorial Research Intelligence department in Artesia, MS, your daily responsibilities will include conducting research, managing content databases, and completing editorial work.


These tasks are outlined below:

Research & content management tasks:


  • Conducting desktop research using secondary data sources on various industry topics, with a focus on South Africa
  • Identifying reliable data sources and potential data partners within the industry
  • Actively generating research topics for database development, in collaboration with the team lead and other industry editors
  • Managing SEOoptimized web content through Statista's Content Management System (CMS), in line with department goals and regularly updating the database

Editorial tasks:


  • Creating and maintaining various editorial products, such as individual statistics, reports, and topic and landing pages

Requirements:


  • Completed undergraduate studies
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills; previous editorial experience in English is a plus (please include an English cover letter)
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex data in a concise and understandable manner (please include an editorial sample in your cover letter)
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on quality, detail, and accuracy
  • Knowledge of the South African market, including past, current, and future industry trends
  • Location: Hamburg or Berlin
