As a Painters Helper, you will get to work on a variety of vehicles and equipment in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Job Description:


In this role, you will work along side the best in the industry, as you assist the Paint Shop Lead and Journeyman Painter to prepare vehicles for painting and related work.


Monday - Friday 5:20 am - 2:00 pm

Job Requirements:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Must be able of unmask vehicles and parts.
  • Have a thorough understanding of painting vehicles and vehicular parts.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Be willing to engage in other paint shop related activities as required.
  • Capable of following written instructions.
  • Must possess valid drivers license and drive manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Be willing to work in a Union Shop.
  • Be able to pass Department of Homeland Security Background for TWIC Card.

The pay or salary range listed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum projected rate of pay for the specific position across our United States locations.

Equally as important, as a team member, individual earnings may consider knowledge, skills, abilities, work location and related factors. The current base rate for this position is $28.47/hr. Wallenius Wilhelmsen team members are also eligible for annual merit-based salary adjustments, and participation in competitive benefit programs. Some roles in the company may offer an additional annual bonus. Additional details on salary or pay ranges and benefits will be available through the interview and employment process. Salary or pay ranges are separate from bonus opportunities and/or benefit plans.
