    Description
    Full job description Bend Brewing Co. is looking for a Kitchen Manager/Chef for our iconic downtown Bend location. We are a high volume establishment and are looking for a professional leader with experience in the industry.


    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
    • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met
    • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
    • Develop and implement menus and recipes
    • Train and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance management
    • Collaborate with frontofhouse staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
    • Monitor food costs and work to minimize waste
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Skills:
    • Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
    • Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food safety protocols
    • Willingness to help out in various areas of the kitchen as needed
    • Proficient in team management, including training, coaching, and motivating staff
    • Strong background in food service, culinary arts, or related field
    • Knowledge of food service management principles and practices
    • Ability to cook and prepare a variety of dishes
    • Ability to have a flexible schedule based on the restaurants needs for success

    Job Type:
    Full-time Pay: $60,000 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: Full 100% paid

    Health Insurance Paid Time Off Job Types:
    Full-time, Part-time Pay: $60, $80,000.00 per year Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Experience level: 3 years Supplemental pay types: Yearly bonus
