    Senior Wastewater Engineer


    My Client is a leading engineering firm specializing in environmental services, with a focus on wastewater management and treatment solutions.

    We are dedicated to creating sustainable and innovative solutions to meet the environmental challenges of our time.

    Our team in Albany, NY, is looking for a Senior Wastewater Engineer to join us in our mission to improve water quality and protect public health.

    As a Senior Wastewater Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and managing wastewater treatment projects.

    You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality solutions that meet regulatory standards and environmental objectives.

    This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management experience.

    Design and oversee the implementation of wastewater treatment systems, including treatment plants, pipelines, and related infrastructure.

    • Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and environmental impact evaluations.
    • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for wastewater projects.
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
    • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and leadership.
    • Stay uptodate with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure innovative and compliant solutions.
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

    • A minimum of 15 years of experience in wastewater engineering, with a focus on treatment design and project management.
    • Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
    • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
    • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
    • A commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
