- Work safely individually and collectively and comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental rules and policies
- Conduct laboratory tests
- Perform routine and non-routine tasks, analyses, and assignments as assigned
- Conduct special projects as assigned
- Coordinate and facilitate, programs undertaken by the laboratory as assigned
- Perform any duties related to laboratory goals and programs
- Maintain acceptable quality performance
- Compile, record and analyze data and prepare suitable reports
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing preferred
- 2 years vocational school/technical training strongly preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills and Math and reading comprehension skills
- Completion of 10 modules (minimum) of mechanical skills training required
- Good computer skills

We are looking for an experienced chemist for our Industry and Water Segment, East Chicago, IN facility.
This position is responsible for performing a variety of routine and non-routine laboratory tests, reviewing and entering data into appropriate data retention areas.
